Our mission
To promote and protect biodiversity and wildlife habitats, while providing recreational and educational opportunities within the Mill Brook Preserve.

Trails
With the help from our volunteers we establish and maintain the trail system in accordance to the parameters of the conservation easement. Bog bridges are built to improve water crossings, and signage placed to provide information and directions. We coordinate efforts to remove hazards, such as garbage and wasp nests and train and manage a dedicated corps of local volunteers.
-
Forest Ecology and Wildlife
An inventory is kept of threats to ecosystem health and establish mitigation plans. We host weekly volunteer efforts to remove invasive plants. Animals are monitored with tracking and trail cameras. We work to create awareness to respect wildlife and create fun incentives to keep dogs on leash

Education
Our goal is to provide free outdoor educational programming to the community. We work with Duzine to provide support to teachers and safe access in the Preserve. We offer an array of family oriented activities, events for seniors, community service days, and wildlife education programs. We also help facilitate research involving high school and college level students.

Access
We provide interior and signage at the entrances. We are working to address parking needs at main entrances as well as adding new entrances and securing easements when necessary.
